IES Training College Chittilappilly owes its origin to the patronage of Ideal Educational Society.The college was born as a sister institution of IES Public School and IES College of Engineering with a view to provide quality education for prospective teachers.

The ‘Kalakshetra’ had a modest,but epoch making beginning in the sprawling 40 acres campus, at the foot of vilangan hills on June 2005.It has become a by word for excellence through the visionary thinking of the management.
